Italian Chickpea Popcorn

Garbanzo beans have a delicious nutlike taste and a buttery texture. They provide a concentratred source of protein that you can enjoy all year long. Available in dried or canned. Very verstile legume, they are a noted ingredient in many Middle Eastern and Indian dishes such as hummus, falafels and curries.

Ingredients

15oz chickpeas
1tsp garlic powder
1tsp oregano
1tsp olive oil

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix chickpeas with ingredients. Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 45mins. or until they are extra crispy.
